Get to know your Certified Inspector

While I am new to the home inspection industry, I am an 8th generation Vermonter, making me very familiar with the area, the climate and the needs of a cold climate home. I joined the US Army at 17 years of age and served as a Military Police officer. I was stationed at Fort Campbell, KY and served a 12-month tour in Mosul, Iraq in 2004-2005. After my time in the service, I started my own maple supply business in Michigan for approximately 10 years before returning home to Vermont. During my time in the maple industry, I worked with the Veteran Farmer Coalition, which is an organization dedicated to helping combat veterans find purpose and peace in agriculture. While operating my business, I worked towards earning a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Pennsylvania State University, graduating with honors in 2011. I then proceeded to graduate with honors from Northeastern University with a degree in Education focusing on curriculum development and course design. I have always had a place in my heart to serve and protect, which led me to become a Deputy Sherrif in the Florida Keys for a few years. I graduated from the Florida Keys College Law Enforcement program with the highest academic score of my class and also the Leadership award as the class captain. While I loved this job, I was homesick for my native state of Vermont and returned home once again in 2023 and began working as a manager for healthcare security. I have finally found my slice of heaven, nestled in the back country of Stannard, Vermont where my partner and I have decided to build a home with our two dogs. While I have done an assortment of things in my life, I have never given less than 100% in anything. Integrity, honesty, hard work and dedication have been my driving force and will continue to be the foundation of my work ethics.
